Meet Our Physicians
K. Robert Stringer, M.D.
Specialty: Internal Medicine
Dr. K. Robert Stringer is Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his Medical Degree from Loma Linda University School of Medicine in 1969 and he received his training in Internal Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia. After practicing medicine for several years in a Christian hospital located in Tokyo, Japan, Dr. Stringer settled in Richmond, Virginia, establishing the practice now known as James River Internists. He enjoys the long relationships he has developed with his patients over the years and strives to keep abreast of the rapid changes in the field of Internal Medicine.
On a personal note, Dr. Stringer describes himself as a pretty good boater, a pretty bad golfer, and an avid student of Virginia history.
Brian T. Bradshaw, MD
Specialty: Internal Medicine
Dr. Brian T. Bradshaw attended The College of William and Mary, earning his Bachelor of Science Degree in 1981. He went on to earn his Medical Degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1986. Dr. Bradshaw also completed his internship and residency at the Medical College of Virginia. He has been a partner in the practice now known as James River Internists since 1989 and over the years, has enjoyed practicing medicine the "old fashioned way", giving adequate time and attention to all of his patients.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Bradshaw and his wife stay extremely busy with their four children and are also active members of their church.
Sheila D. Clasbey, MD
Specialty: Internal Medicine
Sheila D. Clasbey, MD, received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and her medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. Her residency in Internal Medicine with an emphasis on Women's Health was completed at VCU’s Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Clasbey is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. As the newest member of the James River Internists family, she looks forward to building long-lasting relationships and helping patients live their healthiest possible lives.
Dr. Clasbey, originally from Roanoke, has lived in Chesterfield County with her husband and three sons since 1987.
